My Band Radio is a live streaming internet based radio style program that plays and markets original music created by unsigned or independent labeled bands and musicians. MBR gives its audience a selection of unheard music from many genres. It creates a listening experience with limited commercial play and the ability to research and download newly discovered music to their personal collections. It also gives them the ability to follow their newly found artists through social media avenues. My Band Radio was created as a platform to promote and market unsigned and independent musicians in the open market without having to rely on the limited confining structures of the traditional music industry model. Bands are able to create a market, while getting live play and building up a worldwide fan base. My Band Radio allows musicians and bands to setup a store to sell single downloads of their music and earn 100% of the profits.
