About Kahua Music Kahua Music is based in the north-east of England and was formed in 2005, initially as a record store. Kahua's promotion and publishing sections were formed in late 2007/early 2008 offering specialist services to record labels and artists working within the house genre. The strategy division of Kahua was developed in early 2010 to provide bespoke marketing and digital strategy services, consultancy and business development. Kahua is a Hawaiian word meaning 'platform', 'base' or 'foundation'. It is also used in the context of 'playground', 'arena' or 'stage'. (We prefer to ignore the definition that says "detention camp"!!) we play Ibiza radio and Electronic radio.
